September 20, 1968 - Two touchdown passes from Norm Frey to Monroe Berger help Lehighton gain a 21-0 Lehigh Valley League win over Stroudsburg. The Indians, coached by Jim Wentz, open the scoring in the first quarter when Frey hits Berger with a 40-yard TD toss. Bill Sherman breaks free for a 54-yard scoring run in the second frame to extend the Tribe's advantage. Frey and Berger connect again, this time on a 54-yard hookup, to give Lehighton a commanding lead. Frey, who also intercepts a pass on defense, finishes the contest with 148 yards passing.
