An expired trailer registration has led to the drug arrest of a Carbon County man.

Mahoning Township Police Department said that at 2:51 p.m. Sept. 6, police stopped a truck towing a trailer with an expired registration on Blakeslee Blvd Drive East along Route 443.During the stop, police seized heroin, marijuana, and rolling papers.The driver of the vehicle, Robert Elden Brown, 35, of Kunkletown, has been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and registration and certificate of title required.A passenger, Wayne L Altemose, 37, of Effort, has been charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.Preliminary hearings are scheduled for Oct. 5.
