STEP-Up Tamaqua will meet at 7 p.m. Monday. The meeting will be held in Founder's Hall at Trinity United Church of Christ, 22 Lafayette St., Tamaqua.

STEP-Up is a community group of volunteers interested in addressing the local opioid drug abuse issue.Guest speaker will be Bonni Gudleski, who will give a presentation on her daughter's road to recovery. Following the presentation, the group will separate into the four action teams - support, treatment, enforcement and prevention - for work sessions.Anyone concerned about the local drug issue and interested in working toward solutions, is welcome to attend.STEP-Up is sponsored by the Tamaqua Area Faith and Fellowship Network and the Tamaqua Area Community Partnership.
