Jack Lester Covey, 56, of Zion Grove, was arrested by state police at the Frackville barracks for driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:49

p.m.Thursday at the intersection of Schoolhouse and Mountain roads in East Union Township.Police said Covey was encountered while operating an ATV on the roadway and was taken to the state police barracks, where he submitted to a breath test. Police said the results showed Covey was over the legal limit. He was also cited for driving while his license is suspended and other DUI-related offenses.
