Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania will host a workshop from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 5 to help early-stage technology companies identify grant opportunities best suited to their businesses.

The "SBIR/STTR: Basics and Proposal Preparation" workshop will be presented at Ben Franklin TechVentures on Lehigh University's campus in Bethlehem.Interested companies can also register for individual consultations with workshop presenter Jim Greenwood for Oct. 6 at TechVentures.Workshop participants will learn about Innovation Partnership, a state assistance program supported by the statewide network of Ben Franklin Technology Partners.Register online at
