Walker Township has various pieces of equipment for sale.

The township will accept proposals for the equipment before the start of its board of supervisors meeting at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 6.Bids for the following items are to be sold "as is":• 1975 FWD 10-foot dump• 1982 AM General 5-ton, 10-foot dump• 1984 International 12-foot stake body• 1986 Chevrolet military diesel with plow• 1994 Plymouth Acclaim• 1964 International backhoe, model 3414, 2wd, runs• Broom attachment, 3 pt, pto drive• Fork lift attachment, 3 pt, hydraulic liftAll proposals must be delivered by either depositing them in the mailbox located outside the township municipal building, hand-delivering them to the secretary or road master, or by mailing to the township at Walker Township, Nine Township Road, Tamaqua, PA 18252.
