Two wanted on drug dealing charges

Police are looking for a man and woman who are believed to be involved with dealing drugs in the Lansford-Nesquehoning area.

30-year-old Romero McLain and 32-year-old Nicole Raposo are both wanted on drug dealing charges. They may be in the Northern New Jersey/ New York area, according to police.

Charges were filed against the pair after police executed a search warrant at a home in Nesquehoning where they are believed to have been living.

The search turned up heroin, powder cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and pills including oxycodone. Police also found $7,000 in U.S. currency, a scale and packaging material which are known to be used in the drug trade.

The combined estimated value of the drugs and cash is $10,000, according to police. That amount indicates that the pair were supplying drugs in the area, Lansford Police said in a statement posted to facebook.

The search was conducted as a result of an investigation into recent overdoses in the area, Lansford Police said in a statement posted on Ffacebook.

The investigation led police to the home in Nesquehoning.

McLain and Raposo are each facing six felony counts of possession with intent to deliver.
