Borrowing a neighbor's ladder resulted in citations for a Tamaqua man.

Christian Shilko, 46, of 222 Hunter St., was cited for theft by unlawful taking and defiant trespass after he took his neighbor's 28-foot extension ladder.The ladder's owner noticed it was missing on Aug. 28. After a brief search, he saw his ladder in Shilko's yard. A shorter ladder and blue wheelbarrow, which also belong to the neighbor, were seen in Shilko's garage. When approached about the ladder, Shilko reportedly told the other man he would put a bullet in his head if he trespassed.Police say Shilko has repeatedly been warned about trespassing on the neighbor's property.
