Suzanne J. Herbold, 55, of Slatington, suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 10:47 a.m. Sept. 4 on Route 248 in Bowmanstown.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said she was treated and released at the Palmerton Hospital after the crash.Police said she was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Tracker westbound within the Bowmanstown borough limits when the right rear tire of the vehicle separated, causing the vehicle to fishtail. It began to rotate counter-clockwise as it crossed into the left-hand lane of Route 248 westbound, at which time its front end struck the concrete center divider. The car continued to rotate counter-clockwise as its right rear bumper also hit the divider and came to rest on the right-hand shoulder of Route 248.The vehicle was towed from the scene.
