A Lehighton resident died in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday at about 3 p.m. on Route 61 in Tilden Township, Berks County.

Township police are continuing their investigation of the crash, which happened near the Interstate 78 interchange.Police confirmed that the deceased person is a Lehighton resident, but said no other information on the crash will be released, pending the completion of their investigation.The Reading Eagle said emergency personnel were dispatched Sunday afternoon to the northbound lanes of Route 61 for a two-vehicle crash that involved a motorcycle.We’ll update as information becomes available.
