Mini golf benefits Palmerton teen group

The Palmerton Area Library's revamped mini golf game made its debut Saturday. The cost was $2 per person and all proceeds went to benefit their teen group.

Mackenzie Godin from Palmerton really enjoyed playing mini golf."She loves coming to the library. She couldn't wait to get her library card when she turned 7," said Amy Godin, Mackenzie's mom.Mackenzie eagerly went from hole to hole playing her round of mini golf. Each hole had a different theme from the Peanuts characters to Winnie the Pooh."My favorite is Alice in Wonderland," said Mackenzie. The program has not been done since 2012. The library revamped the program to raise funds for their teen group and to bring the community into the library.
