PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A Philadelphia woman is accused of ramming a police cruiser and trying to run down an officer before fleeing the scene.

Police say it all began when officers tried to pull over an SUV Thursday night, and the situation quickly escalated.Authorities say the driver slammed into a police cruiser and tried to run over an officer. She then sped off, leading police on a chase. It ended when she crashed the SUV.No officers were injured. The woman was taken into custody.The investigation is ongoing.
