State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating two theft and two criminal mischief incidents.
• Troopers said Mark Neal Andersen, 59, of Albrightsville, owner of Andersen Builders, observed a suspect stealing scrap aluminum from his propertyin the area of 2500 Route 115, in Effort, Chestnuthill Township, at 2:24 p.m. Aug. 19. The suspect fled southbound on 115 in a white sedan, with possibly Missouri registration plate, and a broken rear window covered in plastic.• A theft incident was reported by a 57-year-old woman from Mountain Road in Jackson Township. She reported someone stole a pile of 2-by-10-inch wood planks from her yard. The incident occurred sometime between July 22 and Aug. 18.• William Joseph Black, 55, of 2722 Pocono Circle, Bartonsville, Jackson Township, reported someone broke a back window on his garage. The window is valued at $100. The incident occurred sometime between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 24.• Multiple lawns were damaged in the area of the Mount Pocahontas Clubhouse property along Old Stage Road in Albrightsville, by someone who drove an all-terrain vehicle over them. The listed victims include two woman, ages 36 and 47, and the Mount Pocahontas Property Owners Association.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
