Dan Rossino, who carries nine times for 92 yards, scores from 19 yards out in the third quarter to break a tie game and give the Olympian the win. Thorpe, which trails 7-0 and 13-7, also receives a 54-yard touchdown pass from Greg Poremba to Bob Turek, and a 10-yard scoring run from Bob Duffy. Poremba finishes with 132 yards passing while Joe Gillespie adds seven tackles and a fumble recovery.
