State police at Lehighton are investigating a road closure due to an accident involving a commercial truck.

Shortly after 4 p.m. Friday a trucker lost control of his dump truck while traveling along Little Gap road in Lower Towamensing township. The truck swerved right, destroying a set of guide rails before hitting and snapping off a utility pole.The truck is from Allentown. The operator was not injured.Little Gap road is closed between Covered Bridge and 57 roads.
