Lansford's Music in the Park program will sponsor its final summer 2016 concert this weekend at Kennedy Park.

Don and Donna Nye of Port Carbon, founding members of the band "Kings and Queens," will perform classic rock, good-time oldies, rhythm and blues and rockabilly tunes from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.The park is located next to the Panther Valley Football Stadium in Lansford.Admission is free and refreshments will be available. Bring your own lawn chair.The concerts are sponsored by Lansford Alive, and any proceeds are used for the revitalization of Kennedy Park.
