State police have reported an attempted child luring that occurred in Chestnuthill Township on Wednesday.
The suspect has been described as a white man approximately 40-50 years old with brown hair and a brown beard.He was seen driving a white van with a New Jersey license plate.The incident took place on North Rocky Mountain Drive in Chestnuthill Township.Police said that around 3 p.m. Wednesday, the man approached a child who had just exited a school bus.He asked the girl if she needed a ride home, which she refused.He asked her a second time, and she once again refused.The man was seen driving toward Route 115.No further details were available.State police at Fern Ridge are investigating.
