The Friends of Beltzville State Park will hold the first Art in the Park event on Sept. 17 outside the park's environmental interpretive center.

Artists can register to display at the event through Sept. 9.Art in the Park features artists who express their creative talents through photography, paintings, artful apparel, ceramics and pottery, drawings, jewelry, glasswork, metal and wood. Art should be inspired by nature, including landscapes, wildlife, sunrise/sunsets, flowers/fauna, skyscapes or lakescapes.Registration forms are available at
