State police have reported an attempted child luring that occurred in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County on Wednesday.
The alleged suspect has been described as a white male approximately 40-50 years old with brown hair and a brown beard. He was seen driving a white van with a New Jersey license plate.
The incident took place on North Rocky Mountain Drive in Chestnuthill Township.
Police said that around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the man approached a who had just exited a school bus. He asked the girl if she needed a ride home, which she refused. He asked her a second time, and she once again refused.
The driver was seen driving toward Route 115. No further details were available. State police at Fern Ridge are investigating.
