Ian Nicholls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nicholls of New Ringgold, graduated from Universal Technical Institute, Exton, attaining full credentials in the Auto/Diesel and Ford Fact curriculum. Graduating with a 3.97 grade-point average, he was nominated for the Alpha Beta Kappa National Honor Society.

While studying at UTI, Nicholls was named to the director's list eight times and was named Student of the Class on five occasions.The 2014 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Fegley Sr. of New Ringgold. He is pursuing a career in Ford's auto program.
