An investigation continues after gunshots were fired into vehicles and residences early Tuesday morning in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police said that at 3:37 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Falcon Terrace, Ledgerwood Drive, Tobyhanna, for a report of gunshots.Upon arrival, officers found several empty shell casings. While on scene, officers heard more gunshots coming from another location.Subsequent searches found more empty shell casings on Ledgerwood Drive.At both locations bullets were fired into vehicles and residences.Both houses were occupied at the time of the shootings, but no injuries were reported.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department.
