Faith-Paced Walkers to benefit area food banks

The Faith-Paced Walkers Club is beginning their fall walking series starting at 8 a.m. Tuesdayat the Weissport Canal Pavilion. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. and the walkers will leave at 8 a.m. sharp. There is no charge.

The club's mission is to help the local community by staying healthy and donating food items to food banks. Each participant is encouraged to bring a food item to be donated at a food bank for each walk.The walks will take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 a.m. between Sept. 6 and Oct. 27. The walk is dog-friendly and all ages are welcome to participate. The walk is open to join at any time during the series and there is no obligation to attend every meeting.At the end of each walking series the club puts together a brunch for all of the people who have participated.For more information contact Anita Wisler at 610-377-5395.
