The Carbon County Department of Veterans Affairs will conduct a Patriots Day memorial service at 8:40 a.m. on Sept. 12, in the Josiah White Park in Jim Thorpe.

All emergency services, veterans organizations and the public are invited to attend this service that will honor those who perished on Sept. 11, 2001.
