A fire destroyed a barn in Ross Township, Monroe County Tuesday afternoon, according to reports from the scene.

The blaze broke out in a home on Flyte Road around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday.

Firefighters said the cause of the fire is still being investigated.

At least five companies responded to the scene. Blue Ridge Fire Co., West End Fire Co., Jackson Township, Polk Township and Wind Gap fire companies all responded.
