A Lehigh County driver was cited following a two-vehicle crash that occurred at 6:08 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Blue Ridge and Pennell roads in Ross Township, Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said Rafi J. Poueriet, 21, of Allentown, was driving a 2002 BMW 530i westbound on Blue Ridge Road at a speed too fast for conditions and failed to stop for a posted stop sign. The front of his vehicle hit the driver's side of a 2009 Kia Rio driven by Kaleigh R. Yaich, 29, of Saylorsburg, who was attempting a left-hand turn onto Blue Ridge from Pennell Road.No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Troopers cited Poueriet.
