Lehighton Area School District's board of directors approved the following coaching hires Monday night:

James Blakeslee (track and field head coach), Dave Sherry (tennis head coach), Brian Polaha (baseball head coach), Greg Poremba (softball head coach), Charles Sterling (assistant football coach), Brandi Lees (middle school soccer coach), Darcey Cawley (girls' basketball volunteer), Devin Steigerwalt (cross country volunteer).
