A woman is fighting for life after being involved in a violent crash Friday afternoon in Franklin Township.

The crash occurred at 5:15 p.m. as the woman was traveling south on Indian Hill Road.As she drove through the intersection with Red Hill Road, a Jeep occupied by several young adults traveling west on Red Hill Road failed to stop for the stop sign.Their Jeep struck the woman’s car at the driver’s door, pushing it off the roadway into an embankment.The woman was treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Allentown.Franklin Township police are investigating.
