A motorcycle and vehicle collided just after 1:30 p.m. on Friday in front of the Times News building on Route 443 in Mahoning Township.

The operator of a Harley Davidson motorcycle was injured after colliding with a Lexus sport utility vehicle, and transported from the scene by Mahoning Valley ambulance.

Also assisting at the scene were Lehighton Ambulance, Mahoning Valley Fire, Lehighton Fire and fire police for traffic control.

Route 443 at the county line and Seneca Road are closed and traffic in the immediate area is being detoured through the Times News parking lot.
