Tamaqua police cited Kim Klocko, 49, of Price Street in Kingston, Luzerne County, for passing bad checks.

Klocko borrowed $1,000 from a Tamaqua man, then wrote him checks for $500 each on March 11 and April 8. Both checks were returned for insufficient funds.Attempts to resolve the matter, including a certified letter, were unsuccessful.Charges were filed on Aug. 10.
