A Carbon County woman admitted on Tuesday to having drugs in the county prison.

She was one of seven defendants in pending drug-related cases to enter a guilty plea before Judge Joseph J. Matika.Faces state timeDanielle Diane Eremus, 28, of Lehighton, pleaded to one count of possession of a controlled substance by an inmate.She was arrested by Nesquehoning police for an incident on May 18, 2015, at the county prison where she was an inmate at the time. Prison officials found the drug suboxone in her cell.Matika told her, based on her prior record, she faces a state prison term at the time of sentencing.Matika deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation office prepare a presentence investigation report.Vehicle stopBrandon L. Zungali,41, of Johnstown, Cambria County, pleaded to one count of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - heroin.He was arrested on June 22 following a vehicle stop along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township by state police at Fern Ridge. Marijuana and heroin were found in the vehicle.Matika told him, based on his prior record, he faces a minimum state prison term at the standard range between 21-27 months at the time of sentencing.Sentencing was deferred so a presentence report could be prepared by the adult probation office.Other pleasOther defendants entering guilty pleas included:Joshua Michael Gross,21, of Palmerton, pleaded in two pending cases to one count each of criminal conspiracy - possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, resisting inspection, unauthorized use of an automobile and a summary no fishing permit.Gross was arrested on the drug count on Feb. 22 along Flagstaff Road following an incident in the parking lot of the Walmart store. Police said Gross was involved with Jonathan O'Gurek, 35, of Lansford, in a drug transaction. O'Gurek is also charged for his part in the incident.The resisting inspection and other charges stem from an April 25 incident along Mauch Chunk Creek in Jim Thorpe. Fish and Game officers found Gross in the area without a fishing permit and he refused to let them inspect his fishing equipment. He then fled the scene in another person's vehicle without permission but was later apprehended.On the drug count Matika sentenced him to serve six to 12 months in the county prison with credit for 109 days already spent in the prison. On the other charges he was placed on probation for two years concurrent with the drug count.He was also ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, render 50 hours of community service and supply a DNA sample. On the second incident on the summary violations he was fine $91 and costs.Jeremy Neil Tobin,38, of Nesquehoning, pleaded to one count of possession of a controlled substance - heroin.He was arrested on March 30 by Lansford police following a vehicle stop along East Abbott Street. He was a passenger in the vehicle and found to have heroin.Matika placed him on probation for a year and ordered he get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance for drug and alcohol use, and render 50 hours of community service.Carolina Robles,25, of Pottsville, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.She was arrested on July 4, 2015, following a vehicle stop near routes 93 and 209 by Nesquehoning police. She was a passenger in the vehicle and found to have drug paraphernalia. She is currently an inmate in the Schuylkill County prison on other charges.Matika placed her on probation for six months.Zachary Ryan Scott,24, of Bethlehem, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.He was arrested on Nov. 1, 2014, along West Main Street by Weatherly police. He was previously placed in the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program but was revoked for violating conditions.Matika placed him on probation for six months and ordered he render 50 hours of community service.Dylan Joseph Lavecchia,22, of Lansford, pleaded to one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.He was arrested on May 26 by Lansford police in the 100 block ofEast Patterson Street.Sentencing was deferred.Each defendant sentenced must also pay court costs of about $1,000 and a $50 per month supervision fee while on parole or probation.
