More tests needed on man who died after lightning strike

LEHIGHTON, Pa. (AP) - A coroner says more tests are needed to determine what killed a New Jersey man who died after an apparent lightning strike at an eastern Pennsylvania lake.

Officials said 38-year-old Jose Lopez-Hernandez of Camden, New Jersey was swimming at Beltzville State Park in Carbon County shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday when the strike occurred.A spokesman for the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources said preliminary investigation indicates n indicates that he managed to get out of the water but became unresponsive in the beach area.The Lehigh County coroner's office said after an autopsy Monday that the cause of death was pending further toxicological tests.Officials said at least two other people were treated at the park after the lightning strike.
