The Times News has learned Pennsylvania State Police at the Frackville barracks are investigating a reported home invasion that happened Thursday night in the Village of Cumbola. When contacted, a state police representative commented, "The press release isn't ready."

Cumbola is a Schuylkill County town of fewer than 500 residents, located about 10 miles west of Tamaqua.
