It will cost Northern Lehigh School District $39,200 to replace its field house hot water heater.

The school board on an 8-0 vote Monday awarded a contract for the field house hot water heater to L&R Associates. Director Gregory Williams was absent.The project was budgeted in the 2016-17 general fund budget.Also on Monday, the board approved a five-year service agreement for the monitoring of burglar alarm systems and recorded openings/closings for its four district school buildings and field house.The agreement is from July 1, 2016, through June 30, 2021, with Altronics Security Systems.The total cost for service for the 2016-17 school year is $2,938; for 2017-18 is $3,026; for 2018-19 is $3,116; for 2019-20 is $3,210; and for 2020-21 is $3,306.
