Sunday worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton, begins at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Nancy Moore is the presiding minister; Vicar Lauren Heywood assists. The church is air-conditioned. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.The regular worship schedule resumes Sept. 11 at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday church school for students ages 3 through grade six starts at 9:45 a.m. on this day as well.Looking ahead, at 4 p.m. Aug. 21, Vicar Lauren invites youth in grades five to 12 and their parents to a picnic at the pavilion at Weissport Canal.
