Powerball ticket worth $150K sold in Northampton County

One winning Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $150,000 from the Saturday drawing was sold at Bath Drug, 310 S. Walnut St., Bath, Northampton County.

The ticket correctly matched four of the five white balls drawn, 20-33-36-47-52, and the red Powerball 12, to win $150,000, less applicable tax withholding. It was sold with the $1 Power Play option, which boosted the prize to $150,000 instead of $50,000 because Saturday's multiplier was three.The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.Pennsylvania Lottery Powerball winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes. Prizes must be claimed and winning tickets validated before winners can be identified.The Powerball jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $67 million, or $46.5 million cash, for the Wednesday drawing.In the 2014-15 fiscal year, in addition to awarding more than $43.5 million in prizes to Northampton County winners, the Pennsylvania Lottery contributed more than $26.1 million to programs serving the county's older residents.
