According to Officer Denna Krammes, a 13-year-old Tamaqua girl was walking alone on Dairy Road on her way to her grandparents' house about 11:40 a.m. when a black male drove up to the girl and told her to "get in."
The male spoke broken English and was driving a black Honda CRV with tinted windows. The vehicle also has a bug deflector on the hood and a roof rack with a tire on the back, according to a police news release.
The male is described as having short black hair and wearing a dark color shirt.
