Weatherly has several events for its end of summer festival.

The kickoff event is at 7 p.m. Aug. 20 at the middle school.There will be games and popcorn for youngsters with other events along with hot dogs and drinks available. A huge fireworks display will begin at dusk.The festival itself will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 26 and 1 to 9 p.m. Aug. 27 in Eurana Park.There will be live entertainment, homemade food and desserts, lot of free fun for the children, and low-cost bounce house rides. Also, there will be many new vendors and some old favorites.Bingo will be held in the park pavilion from 1 to 3 p.m. Aug. 27.A concert by the Weatherly Alumni Band will be held in the band shell at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 27.The beef and beer tent in the hockey rink will be open with sandwiches, wine coolers and alcoholic beverage.A tricky tray raffle and a gas grill will be chanced off.
