A group was at the estate of Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen, along Mount Eaton Road in Ross Township Sunday to protest the cleric's possible involvement of the recent overthrow attempt of the Turkey government. The government launched a sweeping crackdown in the coup's aftermath, targeting Gulen followers, who it says orchestrated the putsch. Nearly 18,000 people have been detained or arrested, mostly from the military, and tens of thousands of people have been suspended or dismissed from jobs in the judiciary, media, education, health care, military and local government.
