Carbon wraps up summer programs

Carbon County's summer programs wrapped up the 2016 season.

On Thursday, the commissioners approved a number of employment separations associated with the Liquid Fuels Summer Program.The program hires students for the summer months to do a variety of tasks throughout the county. The end date for the summer laborers is Aug. 12 unless otherwise noted.Summer laborers• Liquid Fuels Summer Program: Jesse J. Breiner, Cory A. Young and Thomas A. Youngkin, both of Lehighton; Anthony R. Collevechio, Christopher J. Weber and Nathan J. Miller, all of Summit Hill; Sean M. Choley, Jacob Newton, Jordan A. Price and Jeffrey C. Thomas, all of Jim Thorpe; John P. McCole, Christopher A. Santore Jr., Samuel A. Stanko, Ryan M. Taras, Brian A. Fisher, Matthew M. Hudicka, Jacob R. Snyder and Zachary J. DeMatto of Summit Hill, from seasonal park ranger I to lead seasonal park ranger I, effective Aug. 5.
