Police seeking sexual offender who didn't register

Coaldale Police have issued a felony arrest warrant for Christopher Martin Miller, 27, a registered sex offender who failed to notify authorities when he moved.

Local police were notified that Miller had moved to 69 Second St., Coaldale, by the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Unit. Several attempts were made to contact Miller at the Second Street home. The first time, officers were told Miller was at work. Another time, the residents said they were renting the house from Miller, who they thought was traveling back and forth to New Jersey.Then, on June 14, officers discovered the home was vacant and Miller left no forwarding address.Coaldale Police have charged him with failure to comply with the requirements for registration of sexual offenders.Miller was convicted of indecent sexual assault on July 10, 2012, in Ohio. He is described as a white man, 6 feet tall, with brown hair, hazel/brown eyes and weighing approximately 220 pounds.Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Coaldale Police at 570-645-3060.
