Three people were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred at 10:10 p.m. Saturday along the Burma Road in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Michael McShaw, 21, of Pottsville, was driving a 2002 BMW 5301 southbound and attempting to pass another vehicle while negotiating a right curve. McShaw lost control of the vehicle, which went onto the east shoulder and struck a tree head-on.McShaw and passengers Tyler A. Fanelli, 22, and Carl Bostick, 21, both of Pottsville, were all taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-South Jackson Street in Pottsville by Saint Clair ambulance.Troopers cited McShaw for passing in a no-passing zone.
