A fire that started in the basement of a home on Fredericks Grove Road in Mahoning Township has been knocked down.

Multiple crews were called to the scene of the home at 151 Fredericks Grove Road. Heavy fire was reported in the basement just after 1 p.m.

All of the occupants got out of the house safely.

The road was closed between Route 902 and Grist Mill Road.
