A young male driver was injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash on Stagecoach Road in Towamensing Township.

The crash occurred at 4:30 p.m. as he was traveling west when he became distracted.

His car veered to the right, hitting a tree on the lawn of the residence.

The victim was treated at the scene by members of the Palmerton ambulance and transported to an area hospital.

State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
