Tom Shober pitches a two-hit shutout, striking out 12 batters, and hits one of the homers. He finishes with two hits and scores a pair of runs. The winners also receive round-trippers from Vito Focht, Gary Barna, and Arthur. Focht and Barna both collect two hits in the contest.
