A 39-year-old Jim Thorpe man is the victim of an identity theft/fraud/forgery case that was reported to state police at the Fern Ridge barracks as having taken place between midnight April 1 and 5 p.m. July 10 at Black Walnut Lane in Penn Forest Township.Police said the victim that someone used his identity to open several accounts at Target, Verizon and Credit Karma in the Frederick, Maryland, area.
