                About 30 borough and county officials were on hand yesterday for the official dedication ceremony of the Palmer House mid-rise apartment complex for the elderly and handicapped, which is located on the former site of the Palm Theater.
                The ceremony was held yesterday morning in the community room of the five-story building, which is also the new home of the Carbon County Housing Authority office.Welcoming remarks were given by J. Arthur Marvin, chairman of the Housing Authority board. He congratulated the authority on its success with the building and welcomed the staff to the Palmerton office.
