Two men sought in drug cases

Lansford police are looking for two men accused of drug offenses.

Joseph J. Stalgaitis, 38, of 254 W. Ludlow St., Summit Hill faces charges of receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from an incident on July 1.According to an affidavit of probable cause, Stalgaitis was driving a Kia sport utility vehicle reported as having been stolen from a Summit Hill man.When officer Joshua Tom stopped him, he found two cloth pouches containing glass pipes used to smoke methamphetamine, small plastic bags, a scale, crystal meth, and two pills.According to the most recent online court records, a preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 14 before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek.Kevin Dunn, 26, 446 E. Bertsch St., rear, Lansford, faces a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on March 13.According to an affidavit of probable cause, officer Charles Horvath saw Dunn on East Bartsch Street and asked Dunn if he could search his pockets for cash from a recent theft.Dunn handed Horvath his wallet and began to empty his pockets. Horvath found two empty plastic bags in the wallet. Dunn also had a syringe in his pocket and told Horvath he is an addict.According to the most recent online court records, a preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 27 before District Judge Casimir Kosciolek.
