Bowmanstown Rod & Gun Club, 525 Club Road, Palmerton, has wing night specials every Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. Dinner is served every Friday from 4-8 p.m. with a full menu. The concert is held in the Palmerton Borough Park Bandstand and is sponsored by the Bandstand Committee (in conjunction with The Moving Wall).The closing ceremony for The Moving Wall will be at 6 p.m. followed by a patriotic concert at 7 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a truly inspiring evening.On July 31, the concert will be by Lenny and the Loafers.Student art showA student art show will be held at the Palmerton Area Library from 1-3
p.m.Aug. 6 for students ages 6 through 18. All types of art and photos will be accepted for this show sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Prizes will be awarded in two age categories. All are welcome to enjoy a free meal and fellowship.Food pantryThe food pantry for Palmerton area families in need is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday. The CACPAC sponsored pantry is located at St. John's Lutheran Church, 2925 Fireline Road, Palmerton.
