State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating an incident of harassment that happened at 4:48 p.m. July 7 on Pleasant View Drive in Polk Township.

Police said the victim is a woman from the township.It is alleged a 23-year-old man, also from Polk, began yelling and arguing with the victim. During the argument, the suspect threw a plastic vacuum filter at the woman, striking her in the lower back.
