This week's Sunday in the park concert will be by the Italian American band. The concert is held in the Palmerton Borough Park bandstand and begins at 7 p.m. The concert is sponsored by Horsehead Community Development Fund.Please bring a lawn chair. There is no smoking in the park. In case of inclement weather, the Bandstand Committee may cancel. There are no rain dates. The club's portable HO and N scale displays will also be in operation on the second floor along with new and pre-owned trains and accessories for sale. Admission is free; donations are welcome. College and eligible high school students are encouraged to donate. Anyone over 17 years old, weighing at least 110 pounds and who has not donated since May 22 is eligible.
